Towel Rail & Radiator FAQs

Do your towel rails come with a guarantee?
Yes! All towel rails come with a 10-year guarantee, and some radiators are covered for up to 20 years. Check the product details for specifics.

Do I need straight or angled valves?

  • If your pipework comes from the floor: Straight valves

  • If it comes from the wall: Angled valves
Always check your radiator design to confirm the right valve type.

How many brackets do I need to install a radiator?
Most radiators require four brackets, but always use the full set included in your box. The number can vary based on product size and design.

What are your radiators made of?
Our radiators and towel rails are made from durable carbon steel and finished with a tough powder coating.

Can your towel rails be used with central heating?
Yes, they connect just like traditional radiators and offer powerful heat output for both towels and your room.

Can they be converted to dual fuel?
Many models are dual-fuel compatible. Just choose a prefilled dual-fuel option or add a compatible kit.

What do I need to convert to dual fuel?
You’ll need a dual fuel kit, available separately or as part of selected product bundles.

Which size heating element do I need?
Element size depends on your towel rail’s dimensions. Refer to our [element sizing guide] for help.

How is heat output calculated?
All heat outputs are independently tested to EN442 standards. Unlike some sellers, we show accurate heat ratings—not inflated figures.

What’s the difference between Delta T50 and T60?
Delta T50 (used in Europe) is our standard. If a product lists T60, multiply it by 0.79 to get the T50 value.

Can I use a towel rail as electric-only?
Yes. For electric-only use, fill with 95% water and 5% inhibitor, leaving a 25ml air gap. Always have an expert handle installation.

What liquid is inside electric towel rails?
They’re filled with propylene glycol—a non-toxic antifreeze that protects your radiator and boosts performance.

Are your electric elements PTC?
No, our elements are not PTC. Heat rises from the bottom, so the element must not be installed at the top. Always follow fitting instructions.

What IP rating do your elements have?
Depending on the model, our elements are rated IP44, IP55, or IP67, suitable for installation in Zone 2 areas. Check product pages for details.

Can I use any valves with any radiator?
Our valves have a universal 15mm inlet and ½” BSP outlet, but compatibility depends on your plumbing setup. Please check with a plumber before buying.
